Day 1: Take off and Land on Dreams...
Where do i start this.. shall i start saying this is one of the most beautiful country that have visited till date or shall i say this trip gave me memories for lifetime.
I was totally excited as this was my first International Trip.
Finally the day to board flight has arrived May19th,2015... Excatly 18 days later after my wedding!
We had early morning flight, but it was delay by 1 hour and we waited at the gate thinking of the memories that we gonna make from this trip.
Flight arrived and boarded as usual meet and greet by crew... Flight started taking off.. How many ever times i go through this, i still feel butterfiles in my stomach when it takes off. It could be due to excitement or joyfullness i really dont know.
Flight had a stop over at Chennai. The landing of the flight and flying just above the water was a picturesque view.
It landed at Chennai and few more people boarded the board. Most of the girls with mehandi still showing red on their hands and faces glowing and blushing bright.
Finally we landed the airport of Mauritius, it was not so huge but a decent one We stood in the line for OnTravel visa. The officer asked - what was the pupose of the visit, we answered 'we are here for a vacation'. He stamped for 15 days. My passport was stamped for the first time. It's a great feeling to see passport with DODO Bird stamp.
After stamping we went ahead for baggage collection, in between we saw a wall full of creepers and clicked our first seflie in Maurituis...I am blusing you know!
As soon as we arrived at the entrance of the airport we saw a guy waiting with card written with our names. We met him and he asked us to wait as there were two more couples to come in the seat coach. By then we tried to put to switch on mobiles with Mauritus sim card which we had purchased in Bangalore from Matrix Company(Not a promotional write up, but you can check this out for Sim cards,currency, travel cards and more).
Our mobiles started working and we informed our families in India that we are safe. Meanwhile other couples came in and started driving to our stay that we(I) have chosen for its name...
